Interfaith Career Network

Overview

Interfaith Career Network (ICN) is a fellowship of men and women with a common desire to become employed or seek career advancement through a Christian forum. All programs are open to everyone and there are no dues or fees for membership.

Interfaith Career Network is dedicated to providing the following services to all in need.

  • Christian Fellowship and Support

  • Job Networking Opportunities

  • Career Skills Presentations

  • Resume Preparation and Critique

  • Interviewing Preparation and Techniques

Our purpose is to prepare and enable individuals to successfully complete their job search by finding meaningful employment in a timely manner.

ICN is composed of interdenominational churches in the La Grange and Western Springs area committed to assisting area residents in career transition whether they are unemployed, employed or looking to re-enter/enter the workforce.

Programs Offered

Our main method of communication is through this site and our groups.io group. You can self-enroll in our group by clicking here. Members automatically receive electronic notices about upcoming meetings, job openings and job search tools and tips.

Speaker Presentations

Programs with a speaker are offered on the third Thursday of each month starting at 7:00pm.

Quarterly Resume Reviews

Held quarterly on Saturdays from 9:00am until 11:00am. Bring your resume and spend 20 minutes with a professional resume reviewer. Three to four Human Resources, Search and other professionals are on hand to meet with you, one-on-one, to review your resume and offer suggestions and ideas for enhancement.
